@bertinatto

@sreber84 I see that you've pinned to commit 4d55b6dd978f, which is not part of apiserver-library-go's release-4.17 branch. Probably because this PR is a direct backport of #2068.

To bump the dependency in 4.17, you should do something like:

  1. Run the builder container and set the vars (replace with the right 4.17 image builder):
    7. Run `/bin/bash` in a container using the command and image described in [Updating generated files](#updating-generated-files)
    section:
    ```
    podman run -it --rm -v $( pwd ):/go/k8s.io/kubernetes:Z --workdir=/go/k8s.io/kubernetes registry.ci.openshift.org/openshift/release:rhel-9-release-golang-1.20-openshift-4.15 /bin/bash
    ```
    In the container run:
    ```
    export OS_RUN_WITHOUT_DOCKER=yes
    export FORCE_HOST_GO=1
  2. Pin the dependency to the release-4.17 tip: hack/pin-dependency.sh github.com/openshift/apiserver-library-go release-4.17 && hack/update-vendor.sh
  3. Exit the container, commit & push.
@bertinatto I have address the above comment. could you PTAL?
